Lingshan Scenic Spot, a national 4-A scenic spot, is a Liaoning Ecotourism Demonstration Area, a Liaoning Top-10 Forest Park and a Patriotism Education Base.  

　　Lingshan Scenic Spot is located to the southwest of Liangshuijingzi Village, Shanshenmiaozi Township, Lianshan District, Huludao City, Liaoning Province. The scenic spot is 48 kilometers from Huludao City, 58 kilometers from Jinzhou City and 75 kilometers from Chaoyang City. The core scenic spot covers 12 square kilometers. There are beautiful peaks, dense forests, wonderful rocks and deep caves in the mountain. Lingshan Scenic Spot is a famous scenic spot with natural scenery and cultural landscape in Northern China. 

　　The Lingshan Temple in the scenic spot is a unique and rare architectural complex of ancient temples in the north of China. It is a provincial conservation unit of cultural relics. The temple began to be built in 1738 (the 3^rd year of the reign of Qianlong Emperor). Then it was rebuilt in 1806 (in the 11^th year of the reign of Jiaqing Emperor) and was expanded in the early years of the Republic of China. The temple consists of three complexes of courtyard buildings. The layout of the pavilions and buildings of Lingshan Temple is ingenious and the halls and bridges are strewn at random. It has great historical and cultural value in studying the layout and form of religious buildings in the middle and late Qing Dynasty. 

　　Lingshan Temple integrates Buddhist culture, Taoist culture, Confucian culture and architectural style. There are 29 buildings and pavilions and more than 180 Buddhist and Taoist statues in the temple. Lingshan Scenic Spot has pleasant scenery all year round. There are steep peaks, wonderful rocks, deep caves and cliffs in the core area of the scenic spot. Besides the building complex of the temple, there are over 100 sight spots including Five Great Buddhas from Heaven, Nantian Gate, Golden Cicada Patron Saint, Dingshan Lock, Lovers Rock, Chinese Zodiac Stone, Olecranon Rock, Flying Dragon, Camel Peak, Tiger Cave, Wuji Cave, Wanxian Cave, Ancient Liangshui Well and Tomb of Zhongqing Martyr. The Mountain Opening Festival, Apricot Blossom Festival and Red Leaf Festival attract many tourists every year. The dense forest in Lingshan Scenic Spot is rich in vegetation. 

　　The scenic spot is karst landform, which is extremely rare in Western Liaoning. There are jagged rocks of grotesque shapes on the peaks and in the valleys. The pictographic stones are scattered in the forests of pine trees. The natural deep cave Wuji Cave is very spacious. The spring water drops in the cave. Two strands of sunlight pour down from the opening of the cave. It is warm in the cave in winter and cool in summer. It is a place of great tourist value.
